Scholarships

New Zealand Scholarship recipients
Ormiston Senior College acknowledges the significant commitment and achievement of Gemma-Jayde Naidoo and Ashley Narayan who were awarded New Zealand Scholarship. Approximately 3% of Year 13 students nationwide studying each subject are awarded New Zealand Scholarship.

              Gemma-Jayde was awarded Scholarship for Dance
 Ashley was awarded Scholarship for Design and Visual Communication
 
New Zealand Scholarship provides recognition to top students. Scholarship exams enable candidates to be assessed against challenging standards, and are demanding for the most able students. Scholarship expects students to demonstrate high-level critical thinking, abstraction and generalisation, ability to synthesise and apply knowledge, skills, understanding and ideas in complex situations.
