1.  Executive Officer

 Ormiston Senior College is an innovative and forward thinking senior college in Flat Bush, South East Auckland. The current roll of over 500 students is growing each year. We are focused on preparing and inspiring students to achieve their very best in a global society.

 We are seeking a full time, permanent, experienced Executive Officer with proven leadership capability to manage the school’s finances, property and support staff. The finance portfolio includes budget preparation, financial statements and the college payroll. In addition, the role requires leadership and management of the support staff team of approximately 20, and oversight and responsibility for property matters.

Strategic thinking and problem solving combined with attention to detail are important in this role, as is being flexible, adaptable and collaborative. As a leader in the college, it is imperative for the successful applicant to be approachable and demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills.

 Experience in a school is a definite advantage. The position reports directly to the principal and the Board of Trustees.

2.  Science and Chemistry Years 11-13
The Science curriculum area works collegially and collaboratively and seeks a like-minded Science and Chemistry teacher to join their team for 2018.  The successful teacher will be required to teach Science at year 11 and Chemistry up to Level 3.  This is a full time, fixed term position.  Start date 24 January 2018 and end date 16 November 2018. (Maternity Leave).
Suitable for beginning teachers.

3.  Caretaker Assistant
We are seeking a Caretaker Assistant to support our Caretaker in maintaining our College facilities.
Experience of minor repair work, waste management and general maintenance would be beneficial.  The successful applicant must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and physically fit.  A full drivers license and police vet clearance will be required.
The position is fixed term, part time at 20 hours per week.
