2018 enrolments

Enrolment application packs will be available from the college reception or downloaded from this website from Monday, 3 July 2017.

Out of Zone enrolment applications:
  • Deadline for applications: 4pm30 August 2017
  • Out of Zone ballot: Wednesday, 6 September 2017

In-Zone Applications:
Please click below to download our in-zone street names. In a fast developing area such as ours, additional street names are added often so it is best to visit the following website http://nzschools.tki.org.nz/ and search for Ormiston Senior College.

Out-of-Zone Applications:
There are a limited number of places for Year 11, 12 and 13 students. The list of priority areas for out of zone enrolments are determined as follows: http://www.education.govt.nz/school/running-a-school/setting-up-and-managing-enrolment-schemes-zones/out-of-zone-enrolment-order-of-priority/  These places are determined by holding a ballot from the applications that are submitted. The Out-of-Zone ballot dates are set by the Ministry of Education so if further information is required regarding the process, and the priority order, please visit www.education.govt.nz . The ballot will be held under police supervision.

Applications:
In order to be considered for enrolment, please download and complete the applicable Enrolment Pack below.  Alternatively enrolment packs are available from the school office at reception between 8am and 3pm Monday to Friday.

We will require:
* Please note the documents to be enclosed are to be sighted by the Enrolment Officer located at reception. Without the required documentation, your application will be returned.
  • Proof of Residence - this could be your current phone or electricity account in the name of the caregiver showing the in zone address
  • Current passport or New Zealand birth certificate

Once applications have been processed, there is an Enrolment Interview which will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes however you will be invited to the interview at a scheduled time.  This interview allows students and parents/ caregivers the opportunity to ask any questions they may have pertaining to the College or to discuss options relating to the student's year level.
