Ormiston Senior College is seeking an exceptional leader to join our senior
leadership team as deputy principal. This vacancy arises due to a Principal
appointment, and we are looking for a strategic, relational leader with
strong capability in both curriculum and pastoral leadership.

We are a dynamic, innovative senior college committed to culturally
responsive practice, high expectations, and personalised pathways for all
learners. Our Norms and values guide our mahi, ensuring that ākonga are
at the centre of everything we do.

About the role
Key responsibilities include:
 Pastoral leadership of one Kāinga, fostering wellbeing, belonging, and academic success.
 Line management of two curriculum areas, supporting Curriculum Leaders and their teams.
 Contributing to strategic leadership alongside the Principal, Associate Principal, other Deputy Principals, Senior Leader of Wellbeing, and Executive Officer.
 Leading collaboratively through a period of roll growth and development, ensuring high-quality learning and pastoral systems.

Final leadership portfolios will be discussed with the successful candidateto ensure the best fit for both their strengths and school needs.
